If it weren't for my dogs (ok, and my friends and family) I don't think I could get through this thing called life. It's so nice they give you unconditional love whenever you need it.

Baby it's cold outside...

For the first time in years, school was closed because of snow and ice. So I had a lovely day off until the power went off at my house.

Campus looks like a winter wonderland if you ignore all the broken tree limbs. Here's a look from my building looking at our history and foreign language building. The ice on the trees is at least an inch thick.

It's beginning to look a look a lot like Xmas...

Max and Patch hanging out waiting for some presents they can literally tear open. I'm not joking either. I have to watch them after presents arrive because they love chewing on the ribbons and they sometimes rip open the paper. This is Arlo's and Minnie's first Xmas - who knows what fun they will get into.
